FREE Home Sustainability Assessments

ecoSAVVY has a contract with the Australian Government to provide FREE Home Sustainability Assessments to householders via the Green Loans Program. FREE Home Sustainability Assessments are available to homeowners, landlords and tenants.

The assessment is comprehensive and takes approximately 2 hours. It gives you the opportunity to have an accredited home sustainability assessor visit your home and help you to identify where you are using electricity and water, how to reduce your electricity bills and how to make your home more comfortable in our tropical climate (with less reliance on airconditioning).

Having an assessment is a fantastic opportunity to get specific tips from a sustainability specialist relevant to your home and lifestyle practices. It is also an opportunity to ask about other rebates, programs and sustainability initiatives that may be available to you.

The data collected during the assessment is entered into a computer model which generates a report that gives you an indication of how your home performs on energy, greenhouse gas emissions and water, against others nationally, a list of tips relevant to the data entered for your home.

You may have heard a range of Federal Government Environment programs in the press earlier in the year. The announcements in relation to the GREEN LOANS PROGRAM were that the interest free green loans component has now ceased; but the good news is that the government announced funding for an additional 600,000 home sustainability assessments to be undertaken around Australia during 2010. We'd like to see as many Townsville (and surrounding area) households take advantage of this opportunity.

To book a convenient time for your FREE Home Sustainability Assessment, contact ecoSAVVY today on phone 4721 5242, mobile 0409 294 798 or via our contacts page where you send us an email with your address and preferred date / time for your assessment in the description box.
